East Valley Ophthalmology was initially established as a referral practice, welcoming the most challenging cases that other eye care professionals were hesitant to handle due to the likelihood of complications.
Due to the sheer volume of these complex and unusual cases, combined with hundreds of thousands of more common, routine eye exams, East Valley Ophthalmology developed a reputation for excellence under the most challenging conditions. As a result, our practice has become the eye center of choice for patients with complex eye issues, including rare eye conditions seen here in large volumes, and every patient who desires quality eye care for any reason.
Since 1985, the medical staff at East Valley Ophthalmology has performed hundreds of thousands of eye exams and surgeries, averaging between 14,000 and 16,000 patient visits annually. We see patients from all parts of Arizona and across the United States, as well as a surprising number of international patients who are willing to travel any distance for our specialized care and expertise.
