Amy Crump, OD, chose her career with East Valley Ophthalmology because she wanted to be part of our uniquely high standard of care and commitment to quality outcomes for each patient. Dr. Crump practices comprehensive optometry, with special interests in pre- and post-operative surgical care and hard-to-fit contact lenses for corneal disorders, such as keratoconus.
She is proficient in fitting a wide range of contact lens modalities, including soft disposable, toric lenses for astigmatism, multifocal lenses, rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses, hybrid lenses, and scleral lenses. She enjoys the challenge of hard-to-fit cases because it allows her to provide patients with the best possible vision.
Dr. Crump graduated with High Distinction from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. She has worked with ophthalmology practices since her move to Arizona in 1998. She became a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry in 2014.
Outside of work, Dr. Crump enjoys spending time with her husband, parents, and extended family. She loves traveling, scuba diving, hiking, mountain biking, and other outdoor activities.
